TD Garden Hockey East Semifinals
by Bob on 3/27/24TD Garden - BostonRating: 3 out of 5The TD Boston Garden over the years has always cared too much about making money and too little about fan comfort. It began with having to order tickets through TM, because the Garden Box Office is NEVER open except for two hours prior to the event for "Will Call"orders. This ensures that I had to pay the TM "convenience"charges that raised the prices of (3) $46 tickets from $138 to over $183! When arriving at the Garden, only expect the East Lobby for entrance, as the West Lobby is closed. When my two guests and I arrived we were split into three different lines. My line required a full body scan while emptying out pockets from keys, coins, etc. I'm a 72 year old man using a cane. Is this supposed to make us safer? Then either scan everyone, or no one. No cash is permitted at any of the concession stands. Expect to Pay $13-15 for a beer, $6.50 for a bottle of water, and double digits for almost all food items. You can pay $60 for event parking at the Garden garage, but $30-$50 options are available if you want to walk.
