Loved Henry 's show and the opening act .Both were terrific. The downside was the venue. It was too crowded, and the sound system was not good. Consequently, my husband missed half of the show. That was unfortunate, because he was not as familiar with Henry's humor, as I was.
It was a great show! He is a great storyteller! Looking forward to his return to CLE!
The auditorium was greatly over seated. The room was filled beyond safe capacity. The rest rooms on the same floor as the auditoroum were either out of service or otherwise blocked off. The only elevator had a capacity of 12 persons, one was an operator. The stair well was in poor disrepair. There is no public parking anywhere near the venue. The show was great the venue was about 60 years out of date.
Henry was great! He had me in stitches the whole time. I love his type of humor and his no-nonsense style. His humor is clean and funny, while not caring how others perceive him, and we need more of that. I also love how he interacted with the audience throughout the set; I've not seen any other comedian do that. Well done! A definite must-see again!
Henry Cho was very funny, but much of his routine is already on YouTube. The venue was beautiful BUT metal fold out chairs CRAMMED next to each other. Very uncomfortable and hard to breathe. First time at this venue. Won’t return.
The warm-up comic was good. Henry was exactly as promised. His expressions add to his genius. He interacted with the audience a good bit, too.
I had really high expectations seeing him online and the show met every one of those expectations and went well beyond on top of that. The theater is absolutely beautiful. I will be looking to see what other events I can go there.
We’ve seen small clips of Henry Cho online, which is why we bought tickets to see him. He was amazing! Not only was his material and delivery great, but his ability to interact with the audience and see the humor in those interactions was amazing. The things he said “off the cuff” were almost funnier than the prepared and rehearsed material. My husband was nearly crying, he laughed so hard. Oh! And for those who care, Mr Cho works clean. You could take your children to see him without any concerns.
Never seen Henry Cho live before, me and my wife were very pleased, will definitely go back to see him when we get a chance
I felt like Henry didn’t want to be there, like the venue was beneath him. I realize it’s customary for comedians to joke about some venues, this was different. To me he had no preparation, all of his routine was from old routines you see on the internet all the time. He spent the last half of his routine letting the crowd do his show by having the crowd ask questions then try to make jokes of the questions, my wife, who is Chinese said it was okay, I give two thumbs down.
