Rating: 3 out of 5Venue is very dated and tired
by Bob on 5/26/23Scranton Cultural Center - ScrantonHad a good time at the concert even though the Scranton Cultural Center has seen better days. I went to the men's room and there were black garbage bags over half the urinals. The communication also said that this was a cashless event and the first bar we went to said cash only...I had a $20 bill so was able to pay but there really needs to be solid communication and guidance. Brett Young was sick and sang one song but I was impressed that he still flew out from California to participate for the start of the show. Jellie Roll ended up being the Star without Brett there but Jackson Dean is always impressive. Sound system wasn't very loud...could also use an update! Jellie Roll really impressed me since the concert raised money for St Judes and Froggy had a check for $7900 and Jellie said he's make up the difference and make it an even $10,000. That is a great human right there. I hope in the future, Froggy selects better venues for these types of events. We tried to eat and get a drink before the show and Scranton was closed down on a Tuesday night...crazay, if you held it at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, there would be dozens of places people could eat and drink before and after the show. Do these at the Sherman!
