GOOD RIDDANCE IN CONCERT:
SoCal punk rock mainstays Good Riddance returned in a big way in 2015, releasing their first album in nearly a decade and performing shows packed with plenty of politically-charged vim and vigor. The new album, Peace in Our Time, was a welcome return to form for the band, who reunited after a 5-year hiatus back in 2012 but had yet to satiate their loyal fans with a new studio release. In concert the group hits as hard as ever, rocking crowds with their searing guitars, breakneck tempos, and the gruff yet melodic vocals of frontman Russ Rankin. Ticket buyers looking for a taste of adrenaline-filled punk rock glory won't want to miss Good Riddance as they barrel through anthems like "Mother Superior" and "Darkest Days" on tour.?
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:?
Good Riddance formed in Santa Cruz, CA in the early '90s, aligning themselves with the fertile scene surrounding legendary Cali punk label Fat Wreck Chords. They made their debut on the label in 1995 with For God and Country, a seminal record that introduced fans to their hardcore-influenced sound and highly political lyrics. A string of influential albums followed in the late '90s and '00s including Ballads from the Revolution (1998), Operation Phoenix (1999), and Bound by Ties of Blood and Affection (2003). The band released their seventh studio album My Republic in 2006, and in 2007 they decided to call it quits. Their farewell concert was recorded on May 27, 2007, and in 2008 it was packaged and released as the live album Remain in Memory: The Final Show. After a five-year hiatus Good Riddance reunited in 2012 to perform together again, and in 2015 they made a triumphant return with their acclaimed eighth album Peace in Our Time.

The entire show was amazing! Opening bands all rocked, too. Had a great time, and can't wait to see another show!!
