Fahim is one of the best comedians doing stand up right now. He’s the comedian’s comedian and brings smart, playful comedy that you’ll remember
Fahim Anwar is a masterful comedian. His pace and selection of topics is very well done, he manages to engage people of all different backgrounds. He is intelligent, funny and warm. I look forward to seeing him perform again.
The punchline, firstly, is an outstanding venue of I’d say the perfect size. Fahim is a well rounded comedian with jokes everyone will enjoy and the way he delivers them, you won’t get a chance to breath.
Fahim Anwar is a very funny guy. Clever comedy and excellent timing. We were laughing hard through his whole set. However, it was far from a perfect evening. The "host" of the evening, Stevie Blue Eyes, was not that great. The opening comedian, Aristotle Athiras, was decent -- about what you'd expect from an opening comedian. On the other hand, I don't have a lot good to say about the club. The website talks about how Jimmy Kimmel is a Vegas native and how his connection to the town and to the history of comedy led him to design a place that was supposed to be reminiscent of the old school and be comfortable for guests, too. Okay, the sightlines were good. But the service was terrible. There was one cocktail waitress for our rather large section of the front seats (so it wasn't a "cheap seat" problem). She got to us exactly twice in the nearly two hours we were there. First to take our initial drink order -- which itself took nearly 30 minutes for drinks to be in hand -- and then to bring our check at the end. It's a good thing that there wasn't a two-drink minimum or we would have had to stay an extra half hour after the comedians were done. Also, the drinks were shockingly overpriced for what you got. I am used to big city drink prices, but this was right in the "gentlemen's club/clip joint" range for small and watered down and you-gotta-be-kiddin-me price.
The comedy show in Scottsdale Arizona was far better than this guy.. And less expensive too with 5 comedians..
