About
The boys started throwing showcases in the same backyard they met in. 75 RSVPs for the first event. 250 RSVPs for the second event. The backyard parties became the talk of the town in Los Angeles. Gaining coverage from the popular outlet, Ones to Watch.
The Evening Elephants got matching neck tattoos to celebrate the success of their lead single “Life is Swell” which ultimately got covered by Inked Magazine.
The feature in Inked Magazine drew attention from a talent booker at the Viper Room, for the Evening Elephant’s first official venue booking. The show sold out in advance. Leading to a second sold-out show at the venue only 1 month later. Then a sold-out Morrocan Lounge in Los Angeles.
During their inaugural year as a band, The Evening Elephants maintained an impressive pace, averaging one performance every three weeks through 2023. They captivated audiences across various US cities including Los Angeles, Denver, and Arizona, culminating in two sold-out performances in New York City. Leaving behind nothing but cigarette butts and broken hearts.
Brand Partnerships have started early for the band, EE teamed up with Spirit Airlines to cover the cost of the flights and accommodations for their out-of-town shows, and have plenty of dates coming in 2024.
Evening Elephant's dynamic thrash-funk sound has inspired numerous respected producers to call to arms, including PJ Bianco. The EP "Snow on The Bluff," produced by Bianco, was premiered by This Song is Sick, who later hailed Evening Elephants as a standout artist to watch at the Underground Music Showcase.
As a result of the article, the Evening Elephants secured a headline slot at UMS.
The show was packed, so much so, local 303 Magazine put their performance in the top 5 from the UMS weekend in their festival review. So what’s the hype about? See for yourself.
