Excellent show
by Steve saw them in Seattle on 12/3/23Neptune Theatre - SeattleEclectic mix of songs and styles. I would have turned Bonnie's mic up a bit more, but otherwise the sound was great, They are very talented musicians.

Elephant Revival is a unique collection of multi-instrumentalists blending elements of Celtic, Americana, Folk and Indie Art Rock. The band consists of Bonnie Paine (vocals, cello, djembe, washboard and musical saw), Bridget Law (fiddle, vocals), Dango Rose (upright bass, mandolin, vocals), Charlie Rose (banjo, pedal steel, mandolin, vocals) Darren Garvey (drums, percussion, vocals) and Daniel Sproul (guitars, vocals) of Rose Hill Drive. The music they create together is like weather systems meeting in the sky, Bonnie's warmly haunting voice either merging with the rhythms and melodies of the band or providing a counterpoint and transforming it.

I've seen Elephant Revival before and have had their first two CD's for many years. I was really looking forward to the show and they certainly did not disappoint! Despite the unfortunate "retirement" of founding member and fiddle player, Bridget Law, the band put on an inspired, wide-ranging performance! They have a talent for morphing from quiet intricate playing to exploding dynamic outbursts ... far beyond what one might expect from a banjo, washboard, acoustic ensemble! I'm not sure where all that power comes from, but it sure is a lot of fun! Another thing I'm not sure of is why they don't include their fabulous drummer in the personnel listings on the Cd's? This guy is simply outstanding and if my vote counts in any way, I say include him in the band! Great playing, wonderful vocals and clever tricky tunes! This is a fun, extremely talented group of multi-instrumentalists and I would highly recommend them any place and any time!
Amazing performance... such talented musicians... and the voice of Bonnie’s..... brings a baby tear to a mans eye :)
Saw them st WinterWonderGrasd last year and had to see again. Great band with an intimate feel in this smaller setting. Love the multi genre blend of music from Country, Bluegrass and even Celtic sound. They are worth seeing over and over
The Bowery Ballroom was perfect for Elephant Revival. The show was fantastic, and looked like the band was having a great time on stage. Ben Sollee added extra fun. Highly recommended.
If Elephant Revival plays the Hudson Valley, New York City or Southern, CT area, I am there! Their harmonies are pure joy, their music awesome, and their band the best I've seen in perfect performance I have seen in quite a while. See them of you can!
Fourteen of us came to see the opening act, Parsonsfield. I was pleasantly surprised by Elephant Revival. They lived up to their mantra "“WHERE WORDS FAIL… MUSIC SPEAKS.” Lead singer Bonnie Paine has an amazing voice. I wish she sang more. We had dinner at The Sinclair dining area prior to the show. The food was excellent. The venue for the show was very cozy with the wrap-around balcony. The alcohol bar with pitchers of all the free water you can drink was a nice touch.
I first saw Elephant Revival at the Newport Folk festival this past summer and they blew me away! Had to see them again and the bonus was the other opening acts. What a great night!
Awesome show - 2nd time seeing Elephant Revival - I like their albums - they are terrific live. IMO some of the most exciting music in the US today - totally authentic sound and style.
Loved the opening girls, and of course Elephant Revival was great, but people talked the entire time! Sometimes hard to hear the lead singer due to all the background noise. Some of us buy concert tickets because we actually want to listen to the band!
