They're a great and healthy band with a reputation that holds somehow after a 30 year hiatus. Not only do they play great, but their new material is authentic and gorgeous dazzled in with maturity and attention to detail. You can clearly see they're stoked to be playing again. A personal note I particularly like is that they don't pretend like their past work didn't happen and embrace it. Not only that but released even EARLIER works on vinyl for the first time. "Mayfield".

They are absolutely amazing. Greg’s voice sounds EXACTLY the same 30 years later I would see them 5 times over I had a great time. Drop nineteens you’ll always be famous I <3 you.

The Drop 19's kicked butt. Loved the show and venue. The band played impressively given it was only their 3rd performance. The fact it was their homecoming made it all the more special. I really liked the club layout that offered numerous good sight lines. Bring Em Back!

Such an inspiring experience. To seem them play their third show in 30 years in their hometown was amazing. As a shoegaze guitarist, it was very inspiring to see them play like they’ve never left. Definitely one of my favorite experiences I’ve had at Paradise.
