Disappointed

Doug Benson (“Last Comic Standing,” "Super High Me") has been on an album-a-year schedule since 2008 (his most recent release being "Gateway Doug 2: Forced Fun"), plus he has two popular weekly podcasts (“Doug Loves Movies” and "Getting Doug With High"), does the occasional film (“The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled”) and makes regular appearances on “@midnight” on Comedy Central. Such a busy schedule for High Times’ 2009 Stoner of the Year.

Hard to believe that this passed as a New Year’s Eve show. While there were a few redeeming moments, most of it would barely qualify for open mic night.
There’s no need to pit people against each other, the Wang against the Wilbur, online versus live audience. He had one guest on his “show” that had some good jokes. Everyone else including Doug himself was not so great. Revolutionary Clinics, find a better pot-friendly artist to sponsor.
Fantastic experience, great seats and Doug hosting his own show was genius. Very funny and Jeff Tate was hilarious as well! Fully fully enjoyed it!
Venue review Punchline SF could use better seats and accommodations for disabled individuals the staff is great, food nd drinks too. The show, I have been a doug fan for a long time and was disappointed in Doug's sets. The openers also were not funny to me, the race humor was not funny and needs to be in these times. You can not do race or gender based humor and not be funny t just ends up being offensive. Some laughed many did not. Also the sports based humor the premise is bias since the womyns games out shine the men by far.
Went to see Doug, saw two people I'd never heard of. Doug was on stage maybe twenty minutes... And what's the deal with that part at the end? Get audience members on stage to perform for a bag of useless stuff? Nah.
I try to catch every Doug Benson performance in the Bay and I must say it is amazing every time! If you have the chance GO!
Doug was awesome. Ngaio Bealum was great as well. Loved the Doug Loves Movies part of the show. Would pay $100 to see him again
Great show; Doug is so funny and the venue is super close up and personal to the artists & stage. Felt like we were all hanging out in Doug's living room. Wait staff were great, This is the 2nd year we've seen Doug at the Punch and hope he continues this tradition b/c we will be back, BTW, I m a 60 yo Mom who got turned onto Doug by my 22 yo daughter, who accompanies me to these shows. Way to go Spawn! :) I HIGHly recommend this show!
DLM is always entertaining. it was my first time at the gramercy. the theater was a great intimate experience.
