Donell Jones Tickets

This was our first time at The Inkwell, and we found the venue quite nice. The staff was friendly, service and energy were good, DJ had us up out of our seats, etc. The sound system was lacking, but overall we enjoyed the venue. The single star rating is 100% related to Donell Jones. I think he was on stage for all of 30 minutes, if that, and he seemed less than enthusiastic. I thought perhaps his issue was related to the sound system, but I heard from others in attendance that they’d heard less than positive feedback about previous shows he’s done. Its quite a shame because I’m a big fan who spent a lot of money to see him, only to be left disappointed.

Venue was decent. The host had it rockin. The music was a little bit old school. Donell Jones only performed for 15 minutes, maybe four songs and they were half songs

Donnell Jones did not take the stage until the end of the night. He performed 3 songs while basically using the audience to sing the second verse for him. The MC announced Donnell Jones is in the building every hour for 3 hours before he actually appeared. It seemed like more of a ruse than a show. I was seriously disappointed. The event planner must not have paid the artist for a full set. It was like a commercial or preview of a show.

I bought 2 tickets, and basically threw money down the drain. Stood in rain for 20 min and walked in to find out general tickets mean you would have to stand the whole time. Ticket did not indicate at all that would mean stand all day. Which wasn’t feasible considering shoes were not meant to be standing the whole time. Found out performer wasn’t going to be on until 9m. Event started at 3pm. Got inside close to 4pm and left by 4:30pm. So wasted money and didn’t even enjoy anything but our 2 drinks at the bar. Do better!!

Donell Jones was greatttttt!!! Wish he would’ve performed a little longer but other than that it was a good show

He was awful. The sound quality was awful. He can’t hold a note anymore. Avoid like the plague.

The concert was a slight disappointment due to the fact all the acts couldn't make it to the venue. Donell Jones was the main act and he only performed for 30 mins. If I didn't have the meet and greet package I would've been highly upset for a 30 minute concert. Overall not a bad experience but it could've been better.

The venue used was very nice. The greeters were very professional and helpful. The bartenders gave good energy when serving drinks. Stage set up and visuals were awesome. There seem to not have been a sound check prior to event as malfunctions happened with opening guest and then the band music clashing with audio and etc. Understanding of the other two performers missing the show due to airline malfunctions beyond anyone’s control, things happen. Thankful D, didn’t mind performing alone and providing time for meet and greet afterwards. This event added to the reasons why I enjoyed my visit to Texas. With all of the unforeseen situations, I say, job well done!!!!!

This concert was advertised for tweet, j.holiday and Donell Jones. Donell Jones performed for 15 min tops and that was it. Audio was also terrible. I will always be a Donell Jones fan but this was the worst concert I’ve ever been to from all angles.

I came to Dallas to see tweet n she wasn’t there , I’ve seen Donnell Jones n he always does a great show
