Both bands were amazing. Need to see them again!!!
Solid performance by Enslaved and Dimmu. Woe opened up for the show with a great start! They are a local Philadelphia black metal band, whose first record is "Quietly, Undramatically" released under Candlelight Records. Solid, true blackmetal opener for Blood Red Throne, Enslaved and Dimmu - however I did not think Dawn of Ashes quite fit in the lineup... I would have liked to have seen them replaced by a more fitting band, even if it was local, like Woe.
These guys never cease to amaze me...This is the first time I saw them and they are mind blowing....anyone who hasn't had the chance to see them when they come back thru North America...hope they are....go see them no matter how far you have to travel...you won't regret it...we got to meet the band and they allowed us to take photos, autograghs and were genuinely very nice dudes. Thanks for putting on such an amazing show....Hail Dimmu!!!!!!!!
i will never forget this concert as long as i live was absolutely amazing and the price was phenomenal cant wait to see them again
Opening bands terrible but nothing unusual. Loved having several Norwegian bands together. One had trouble with the mic but Enslaved was simple, clean and it was great to hear them finally. Didn't seem like the audience knew their music or history too well. Dimmu good but getting overproduced for this type of music. Overall a great show and a good crowd. Bring us more shows like this.
The show was amazing my neck is still recovering from it. Dimmu weren't that great as i thought they would be. Dawn of Ashes took my attention very quickly from when they first walked on stage. I thought they would be an industrial band from what I heard but, man, I was wrong. Idk the other bands they never announced themselves. One band, the microphone didn't work which was very upsetting. When the mic did work his vocals were really good I wish I heard more from him.
One of the best shows I have seen lately. Both Dimmu Borgir and Enslaved played and sounded near perfect.I definitely look forward to see them on the next tour.
Great show by all bands, high energy, great crowd.
Dimmu Borgir did not disappoint, fourth time seeing them and this was the best. Enslaved was good. Blood Red Throne was good except for half of the show they had mic problems. Dawn of Ashes was great for only knowing a few songs they impressed me and now I am a fan. Could have did without Woe.
I go to a lot of metal concerts, and Dimmu put on one of the best shows I've ever seen. Easily In my top 3 of all time. Thanks for bringing black metal to Houston!
