The festival was well organized the sound was all well mixed and all the bands had awesome energy. Deftones themselves out on a great performances. I would have liked to see them play more heavier songs but I still loved the setlist they put together and sand along to every song.
Everything went beautifully, at the gate security did a thorough look at belongings it felt safe. There was staff handing out one of a kind DDLD4 patches. There was many props and staff dressed up to take pictures with and the fans were friendly enough to help take pictures. There was plenty of merch, food, water, all kinds of alcohol. The stages seemed to be operating great, all the bands played their heart out. The mosh pits got out of hand a lot but that's a given if you stand by the stage. Would definitely recommend.
I had never been to a Deftones concert before. I was supposed to see them in Seattle last year but was unable to because I was recovering from an urgent brain surgery, so attending this was my way of making up for that to myself. And OMG that setlist!!! I'm confident this event was better than what I would have experienced then! The other acts were pretty fun. And then Deftones knocked it out of the park! I snagged a great spot on the rail, which was great bc of my medical conditions (was near the first aid tent and in view of the security guards) - and I had a pretty awesome view!! Deftones played pretty much ALL of my favorite songs and didn't use too many strobes which was very appreciated! (I have epilepsy) All in all an AWESOME time! 10/10 recommend and would do DDLD again!
Everything was great, except the sound system kept cutting in and out, all the people smoking, and 100 gecs. I feel like their sound was way to loud.
The set up this year was WAY better compared to last year’s set up. I would say the only thing that needed improvement were the opening acts for the Deftones. Like NEVER bring back 100 gecs…. their music physically hurt my ears and almost set off a migraine. It was my son’s first Deftones concert and festival and he absolutely loved it!
I had a blast. Hopefully to see them again. This is like my 11th time seeing them perform live. I cannot wait for them to tour again!!!
Great venue, food, drinks, merch. Truly loved it all, although 100 gecs played a strange hour set opening for Deftones. guess i cant be that upset since Chino hand picked the bands himself...
One of the best events I've ever been to. There were so many interactive experiences, and the decorations were beyond anything I've seen. I loved the authenticity of the designs and decor, and the music was amazing. The only thing I didn't get was the aisle in the middle in front of the stage, since it didn't really seem to be used to for much of anything. Otherwise, lots of space for good views of the stage. Can't wait to come back for DDLD24!
Deftones is one of my favorites bands, and this event was awesome. I buy the VIP tickets and don't regret.
Phenomenal show! Amazing setlist! Wish they had a better section for VIP that was much closer to the stage, or even guaranteed front pit, but had a great time
