The venue was the perfect size and this band rocked the house. David Victor is an amazing singer and I especially liked when he hit the high notes. He has an energetic stage presence and a fun sense of humor. He is quite talented in his own right, but he also made sure to showcase the other guys in the band and how talented they are as well. Victor Bender sounded awesome on keyboards and guitar, and I would see him smiling a lot and could tell that he loves what he does. Manny Aguirre, the bassist, can really sing! I was also very impressed by the powerful vocals of the drummer, Glenn Jost. To be honest, the Styx song "Lady" isn't generally my favorite, but when Glenn sang that song, it just made me so happy and I had a big smile on my face the whole time. He made it sound better than the original, in my opinion. Steve Zukowsky has been filling in for Roby Duron on lead guitar and he absolutely nailed every song, as he always does everywhere he plays. Steve can play anything and it's always excellent. They played a lot of the hits of Boston and Styx plus their own new song which sounded great and has positive, uplifting lyrics. I love that. I also loved the different beautiful colors in the stage lighting. It was a great night and I was sad when it had to end. Go see this band and have a music high for days after!
The show was absolutely amazing. The talent of everyone on Stage is hard to find individually. However, to have all of this talent on stage at one time, blows my mind. I've been playing music for over 50 years and although I'm not a 'groupie", I can admit that I've taken a few weekend trips just to see these guys. This band should be filling Arena's and larger venues. I just wish they'd play more shows on the East Coast. Everyone needs to check out their first release "Heart Open Wide".. Fantastic
Musicianship was over the top. I would close my eyes and listen to the guitar riffs and imagine being at a live show from the 70s. Don't Hold Back was my personal favorite, although I can't imagine anyone finding any faults in any of the tunes performed. The drummer who sang the Styx songs was incredible too!
