Rain out options are horrible! No transfer credit options etc. just grand stand seats on a couple days, no weekend after paying full price for low center sections months in advance. It would be great of them to offer tickets for next years event. It is a nice tournament.
Love this event every year! No bad seats, high level of women competing! It's well run.
I enjoyed every minute. Look forward to next year.
The venue is very fan friendly. All reserved seats are very good seats. The tennis quality was A+. Would definitely come to this tournament again in the next few years.
I joined my Daughter at her home on Daniel Island, and together we experienced the Credit One Charleston Open 2024 coming several days and nights to watch the Matches. We loved the Food and Beverage Choices! We loved our Seats in the Stadium! We had so much fun watching matches at Althea Gibson especially the Doubles. The festive atmosphere throughout the grounds with lighting and flowers truly made our experience a vacation. The Grand Lawn allowed us to get out of the sun and relax with a cold beverage but still keep current with the tennis competition watching on the Big Screen. We are already talking about Credit One Charleston Open 2025!
The Credit One Tournament is a nice little event. Seats/views in the stadium were wonderful as was the level of play from the contestants. There was a wide variety of food options and, as is true at nearly all tennis tournament, they were all overpriced. Also, what's with limiting wine choices to Rose (ugh) and Chardonnay (ugh again)? First time visitors to the tournament (like us) should prepare for the fact that the site is located in a highly congested area with lots of traffic and no free parking within a reasonable walking distance. I have to admit that the shuttles did run frequently though it would have been better to have been able to dispense with them and walk.
Excellent plays. Organisation and logistics and overall stadium facilities
The Charleston Open is a fun event. Great tennis… great venue…great atmosphere. Definitely a tournament to see!
This tournament is a great experience. A beautiful setting, good management, nice amenities. The player draw was a little thin this year but some of the top names were there. I was particularly impressed with their handling of remote parking and shuttle buses. Very smooth. My only complaint is that the tournament is making no effort whatsoever to promote recycling. No recycling containers were found anywhere on the grounds. This should be a basic thing by now.
