Carolina Panthers Team History
The Carolina Panthers became the 29th National Football League franchise on October 26, 1993. They played their inaugural season in 1995, finishing 7-9 and setting an all-time best opening season record for an NFL expansion team. They also beat the San Francisco 49ers in their inaugural season, becoming the first expansion team to defeat a reigning Super Bowl champion in their first year of play.
Since their start, the Panthers have won six division titles, including three consecutive NFC South division titles from 2013-15 under coach Ron Rivera. The Panthers have made it to the playoffs eight times, winning two NFC Championships and appearing in the Super Bowl twice. Under coach Rivera, they made four playoff appearances in a five-year span from 2013–2017, tying Green Bay and Seattle for the most NFC playoff appearances during that time. In that five-year span, the Panthers recorded 51 wins, the most in any five-year period in franchise history, and tied for fifth-most in the NFL.
Their first Super Bowl appearance was in 2004 for Super Bowl XXXVIII, then Super Bowl 50 in 2016, following what was the Panthers’ most dominant season to date, going 15-1 with quarterback and MVP Cam Newton.

Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium
The Carolina Panthers play their home games at Bank of America Stadium, located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Specifically designed for football, the 75,525-seat, open-air, natural-grass stadium opened on June 27, 1996, and has undergone several renovations to improve the fan experience, beginning in January of 2014. Renovations have included the construction of escalator bays that quickly take fans to the upper levels, plus state-of-the-art sound, video and scoreboard systems, as well as upgrades to 151 suites. The upper level and lower level concourses have also been updated with LED lighting, new signage, and digital menu boards.

Panthers' Offense looks like last season and still needs a lot of work before the regular season begins in September. Still, I'm optimistic for the Panthers to have a much better season in 2024, perform better on the field and put winning points on the scoreboard! GO PANTHERS!!

The staff and players were so kind to all the fans, signing autographs and taking photos with everyone. The finale of the fireworks show was amazing. A definite “Thumbs Up”!!!!

Fanfest with no mascot, no cheerleaders, no access to players, and barely team gear to purchase. Fireworks started before dark, which was actually a little blessing to get kids home. Not impressed.

Constantly lot of moving around to watch and difficult to get an autograph. This year it was much got to see every bit of the practice. Got to sit down and relax and enjoy it. Really love the VIP. My daughter also enjoyed how easy it was to get signatures versus last year. She got hurt trying to get a players signature due to the kids autograph side being overcrowded. The VIP experience was GREAR! Especially the free ice cream on a hot day.

by Puffler on 8/4/24Clemson Memorial Stadium - ClemsonTook my grandkids (boy who's a huge Panthers fan, girl who normally couldn't care less about sports) and wife to Carolina Panthers FanFest at Clemson Stadium. We had a great time. They gave out a poster with the training camp roster and a light up LED wand for the fireworks show at the end. The team practice/scrimmage was great, good to see the team out again. Hoping for a better season (could it get any worse?) this year. My grandson got Bryce Young's autograph so he was really excited about that. Granddaughter surprisingly had a good time and got some autographs as well. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the blaring rap music from the stadium speakers during the entire event. Not sure how the players and coaches could hear what any of their teammates were saying. Otherwise it was well worth the 4 hour drive for FanFest.
