This was a great game and great atmosphere. A great game to take kids.
The arena was absolutely electric. The crowd needed some momentum from the team occasionally, but these fans know hockey: they cheered for blocked shots, and the roof felt like it was going to blow off when Canisius scored. PA announcer, game day staff were all tremendous. If you like hockey, you'll love going to a Canisius hockey game.
I came in and nobody redeemed my ticket. Would have been sweet if I hadn’t bought it already. $21 wasted. Otherwise beautiful facility, entertaining level of hockey and great atmosphere with the pep band in the stands and the cowboy on the PA. They have checked tickets every other time I’ve been there. Just not this time.
I took 10 of my grandchildren (along with 7 other adults) to see the Canisius/Niagara hockey game at Harborcenter on January 16th. It was very exciting, and we all had a wonderful time. Looking forward to doing it again next year. EAGLES RULE !!
Affordable hockey with affordable parking at the Harbor Center parking ramp. A nice night out.
Nice, small arena, clean and very easy parking in attached garage. Could see the entire ice surface from any seat in the building, standing room locations had a great view too overlooking the ice.
We had a ball!! The venue is great, and the competition was exciting. We will definitely return...
What a great evening! First time watching a Canisius game at the new rink. 2 for 1 beer, full appetizer spread and live music before the game. At $16 per ticket, what a bargin. Oh did I mention great hockey and a Canisius win!
The spirited rivalry was exciting once we arrived......from Washington St.@ Lafayette Square, it was a bumper to bumper "free for all" with no police directing the intersections approaching the Harbor Place. Because of another event (concert) at 1st Niagara Center, there was mass congestion and drivers were being rude and antagonistic because of sitting through multiple light changes several times before making progress of at least 1 car length! We had planned to park in the Harbor Place, but since we were already 30" late (missed 1st period) we parked at the Seneca Realty underground ramp and walked. I do not understand why there was no police or security at the intersections, it was dangerous...people were pulling around cars, driving & blocking intersections, and the bitter cold didn't help. I would not plan on attending another Harbor Place event if another event was scheduled at 1st Niagara. Also our seats were partially obstructed from viewing the game because of rails behind the officials TV replay booth. 3 of us moved above the area to be able to see the left end of the ice.
$17 per family member is a lot for this game! Canisius played ok. We moved to different seats.
