The show was great, and happy we were able to attend. All the artist were worth the price! Nice soothing music - simply relaxing music. . . Disappointed that I could not secure a table - yet there were empty tables on the night of the performance. (I tried to purchase a table very, very, early and there were none available)????? Just curious, does someone buy ALL the tables and re-sell them?????
We gave tickets to my Father as a gift. They had an awesome time and are ready to go again! Thank you Norman Brown, Peabo Bryson, et al! I look forward to going to the next show with them.
What a treat to be front row for Brian Simpson. Watching him play the key board so close and personal. As a bonus he brought with him Elan Trotman. That man can blow a horn. I was very surprised with the venue. I found it to be a great place for these concerts and look forward to going back to the rest of the series. The museum attached has some very powerful art and some exhibits that surely provide solemn reminders of history.
It is really too bad that many jazz lovers missed the Brian Simpson/Elan Troutman show at the Ritz. It was really enjoyable and should have been a "must see" for the avid jazz lovers. Hopefully, next time the turnout will be a lot stronger!! Keep going Ritz, you are doing an excellent job!!
