Breakfast with Santa Tickets

Overall, we enjoyed the Breakfast with Santa experience, but improvements could be made. Pros: -the food was good -we liked looking at the trees before the event -the table settings were nice -the activities at the tables (coloring pages, etc) were fun -welcoming the Clauses with songs was a nice touch Cons: -the theatre kids did an EXCELLENT job, but the piece they performed was not engaging for this event’s target audience (young kids). A shorter or more musical piece may have been better. -similarly, after sitting for so long for the performance, the reading of “Night before Christmas” left the kids quite antsy. -there was not enough signage to direct us from the trees up to the 6th floor for breakfast -it would have been nice for the kids to have somewhere to sit when getting a photo with Santa

My son loves being able to see all of the wonderful Christmas trees before breakfast with Santa. He looks forward to seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus, story time, and the show put on by the Youth Theater.

The breakfast was very minimal- pancake and a sausage patty. It did include a drink of choice (water, milk, or orange juice) and unlimited coffee. The build up to Santa's arrival was lacking... no one was in the spirit or feeling the excitement. It was hard to hear anyone that was speaking because the music was drowning them out. The speakers/announcers tried to reach out and get the crowd into it, but it wasn't working. Several of the activities or games were over powered by the kids with no supervision. Several games were unmanned by staff or volunteers. Overall, I feel this event could be a lot better and more exciting if it were better planned out and presented better. It was just not worth the money I had to pay ($70 for 5). I was expecting more, my kids were expecting more, and several patrons stated they thought it would be more to it. A couple of ideas for future events: 1-play a Christmas movie during the breakfast (Polar Express, Muppets Christmas Carol, etc) 2-have all of the characters to interact with crowd, walk around 3-several students and people in the area are talented... let them sing for entertainment Overall, It was ok...
