To start off the host was not very funny, wasn’t able to get the small audience engaged and received very few laughs (we won’t count the constant laughing from an inebriated female guest near us who laughed at everything with an unsettling loud laugh). The next “comedian”, Jonathan, was the worst performer I have ever seen. First off you couldn’t understand most of what he was saying, it appeared he kept forgetting his script (if he even had one), his attempts at humor were mostly gross and crude and definitely not funny (except for the one female). Four guests got up and left, no one was responding to him in any way and he couldn’t be done soon enough. The host came back and tried to regain the audience. Wasn’t happening. Brandon shows up and it was evident from the start he was aware of the bad experience we were having. He tried hard to connect but it just didn’t happen. I felt sorry for him because the host and Jonathan killed the evening. Brandon didn’t have a chance. Pechanga needs to do a better job of signing up talent for the host and the leadin. We won’t be attending any more events at the Comedy Club.
