It was very disorganized! Contestants were sent out at wrong times & after the other competitors had been judged. Seating!!! Awful! I even asked where we should sit & was told anywhere was fine. Late arrivals wanted an extra seat & went & brought back security to make my party move. My granddaughter had paid full price for her daughter to have her own seat. She ended up having to hold her the entire time. We will never go back there. My daughter & son-in-law were competitors & they will never go there again. It was ridiculous!!!
Seating was poor for this type of event. Couldn't see the stage. Lighting was terrible. You could see it was not properly organized. Some tickets would not open on the phones.
The site was great, the set up, the lines moved quickly. Couldn't hear the performers music during prejudging. Lighting was ok. Floor seating is not beneficial , especially if the person in front of you is oblivious as they move their head from side-to-side. Frustrating! That's why I loved the Tribeca Performing Arts Center for the NY Pro. I left the prejudging after the open division , returned at 4:30 and found that the bikini division was still going! WAYYYY too many competitors in several divisions! The 212 Finals were great, the open was close but a very small field. Last year was a nice surprise with Winkelaar, Dexter, Kuclo, et al
The event was great , all athletes love ok great and we're very entertaining to see them compete! The venue is great too and $10 parking near except they need better lights on stage to highlight all the good work athletes put in and also come up with better plan for ticket holders to enter into the venue then create a miles and miles long line ! I'm glad it wasn't raining while we were waiting in this line !
The show was great. All of the competitors looked amazing. Could've done without the 2 Sharpie swipes placed on my hand to show I'd been admitted.
We had a very nice evening. The show had plenty of competitors in every category. The male body builders were very entertaining. It was probably one of the smoothest running shows we have been to. Kudos to the team running the show!
I've been to quite a few bodybuilding shows over the past couple of years and this was by far the worst. The show itself may not have seemed that bad from the audience's perspective, but I'm close with some of the competitors and witnessed up close what horribly run show looks like. Back stage was just a mess with athletes all over the place not knowing where they're supposed to be when because no one was really giving them directions. Add to that the fact that the audience entrance went right through the back stage competitor holding area and it was pretty much pandemonium. I know a few athletes who even missed their class and didn't get to compete, even though they were ready to do so. All in all, it was a bad show that neither I nor many of my bodybuilder friends will be attending again.
Had a great time at this event! Met amazing people and was inspired by all the hard work. This was Deffenetly a goo time
The venue was extremely too expensive for a family of 4. Please do not couple three venues together and stick them in an event hall. The car show had nothing to do with fitness and there were only about six cars on display. The athletes work extremely hard "Cross Fit" and it would be nice to have a large audience to support and encourage them without having to pay the overpriced admission fee. $40.00 per person for general admission is too much. $15.00 - $20.00 is more reasonable. Please reconsider and adjust the pricing accordingly.
