We took our 8 and 11 year old granddaughters. They loved it. More crowd interaction than I remember from past shows we saw.
I appreciate the effort that the actors make, they play the musical instruments very well, but the truth is that I was bored... and I don't think I will go back, on the other hand, this is the 3rd time my husband has gone... so each person must decide for themselves if they like it or not.
As much as I wanted to, unfortunately I did not enjoy this show.
Some beautiful images and powerful combinations of visuals and music, I wish the whole show had been about this. DIdn't enjoy the pretty clumsy interactions with the audience, which were dragged out for too long, not very original and surprisingly 20th century in terms of gender roles.
Honestly I didn’t know what to expect besides drumming - it was an amazing show that everyone was involved in. The group is very interactive and fun, everyone was having a great time. Worth every penny! My only regret is not grabbing a souvenir before leaving.
So much fun! Great ingenuity & interactive experience!
This show will hit all of your senses. Loved the energy and getting the audience involved made the show even better. Highly recommend for an evening out!
I’ve seen blue man group in a few venues and Chicago has been my favorite. The theater is just the right size and the performers are able to use the stage well. The attendance was low at my show probably due to Pink and the DNC taking place the same weekend. The new acts were ok but there seemed to be more non-music items than what I remember. I wish they’d focus on the music a little more with the blue men performing the strange instruments. The merchandise was lacking and I was willing to pay! Their last CD was 2003. I fear their bubble has popped… please innovate like you did in the early 2000s!!
Granddaughters loved it. This ess my 5th time over 30 years
