Great sound and family friendly. My three-year-old granddaughter loved it as much as the adults.
Whenever I see Big D, it’s always a great show. But the Fluent in Stroll show was historic. The crowd was wild and you could tell the band was putting their heart and soul into the show. Brighton Music Hall is a great venue, and the first time I saw Big D was there a few years ago. If Big D could do an annual album play through of Fluent in Stroll every summer, that would be a dream come true. Thanks for the great energy, fantastic museum, and unforgettable memories.
The Big D and the Kids Table / Toasters / Salita / Stray Bullets concert was without a doubt the best night of my entire life.
Gift for nephew, who really enjoyed Big D & the Kids Table. Best show by them ever.
One of the first thing I noticed upon entering the Paradise Rock Club was how great of a venue space it was for this kind of show. Big D & The Kids Table plays to the crowd in just the right way that choosing a venue with seats in it would seem wrong. This was the perfect venue selection for moshing, circle pitting, and stage diving, all of which happened. The whole show went perfectly, and I had a great time!
Although not my first Big D show, it was the first time I have seen them headline & my first Halloween show with them. I love ska shows cuz the lineups always deliver. They all seem to go together, whether it is mainstream, ska-punk, ska-core... somehow it all fits. And there is no "phoning it in" during a ska show. Ska bands have to give 100% when performing, even on the greatest-hits. It is just the nature of the genre & a testimony to those musicians who play it.
This is my third time seeing Big D and my second time seeing their annual halloween show. This time, they went all out with costumes and with a random, but awesome, clown video written by David McWane. Every time I've seen them they have so much energy. They don't make big announcements about concerts, so you really know that they're just in it for the music and so people can have a good time. I'm going to keep going to their shows until they decide to retire (which hopefully won't be soon). :]
I got there and I could skip the line cause I wasn't drinking so I thought that was a good thing. my friends and I didn't actually have to wait long before the first band played, and the 4 bands opening were very similar to Big D so it was good to listen to. however, dancing to 4 bands was tiring so my feet hurt and my back was sore even before Big D!! also Big D didn't play a very long set cause of the curfew so I would have liked it if the opening bands didn't play for soo long. it was still one of the best shows I've been to, so much energy!!
Big D and the Kids Table continue to be the best live band ever.
