Benjamin Clementine Tickets

Benjamin Clementine is a fearless singer whose recordings only hint at the intensity he brings to his live performances. His incredible range and control were matched by his passion. The synagogue's acoustics made for an excellent showcase for this gifted singer, pianist and composer. If and when he makes a return to D.C., I'll be there.

Strong voice, liquid smooth piano, and beautiful venue. I have truly nothing negative to say about the performance. I came in with high expectations, as a fan of Clementine's album already, and he exceeded them!

Benjamin Clementine was incredible. I understood his voice was impressive below the concert, but he is skilled and a powerhouse. He could have been heard without his mic. Really endearing banter and impressive set list. Even more impressive, he accompanied himself, work no one else on stage!

Benjamin has won my heart--I found his personality to be endearing and musical skill to be of the highest level. I will see him again and again and again... Sixth and I is a wonderful facility and I have enjoyed every concert there.

Benjamin Clementine is a phenomenal artist and musician. I am so very happy that I took the time to seek him out after hearing his voice in the Burberry commercial. That was the first moment his voice resonated with me. I found and watched a video for "I Won't Complain", it resonated with my soul. He would probably cringe at my use of the word 'eccentric' to describe his way of being but it's definitely a feeling I have about him...and temperamental too. He didn't seem to be overly impressed with "Americans", which is how he addressed the crowd. Humph. Totally unabashed was his interaction with the audience. I suspect he would have preferred it to have been kept to a minimum and more one-sided. Though not quite apparent to everyone in the audience, simply put, no comments from the peanut gallery PLEASE and hold your applause until the end of the performance. My advice: show up, shut up, and listen! His "soul" purpose is to make you FEEL SOMETHING. I cried multiple times during his performance...Yes. It's like that.

An intimate setting befitting a master poet. Love!

I love his music and own everything he's recorded. He sounded even better live. The Teragram is pretty small and the show felt very intimate. His lyrics are very poetic and it feels a little like really, really beautiful spoken word. I wish he could have played longer. The set lasted about an hour and he had no encore.

I was mesmerized by Benjamin's performance. So real and natural, he captivates. Seeing him perform is a treasure. I look forward to the next time. The venue was perfect, love The Sinclair.

I am so glad that I purchased tickets to see him live! Benjamin Clementine's voice permeated my heart with unexpected emotion. There were times I felt sadness and times the entire crowd felt uplifted. The chemistry between him and the drummer is not to be missed either. The two of them can move the entire crowd through a journey that leaves you feeling like an old friend.
