by PEHCW on 4/16/24Raising Canes River Center Arena - Baton RougeThe Marketing Department needs to possibly rethink their strategy of promoting the mascot name of the “Zydeco”. The team’s uniform displays the images of musical notes and that’s as close to Zydeco as it gets. The song “Calling Baton Rouge” by country artist, Garth Brooks played over twenty times. Because of these reasons I respectfully think that this should be altered.

The arena was nice clean and offered plenty of seating, food and other amenities. The Game was entertaining and fun to watch. The ice surface seemed a bit choppy made the puck hop around a lot.

Seeing the teams scuffle and almost fight. I just remember hearing the guy behind me saying let them fight!!!! Lots of fun and can't wait to go back.
