Bands of America Tickets

General admission did not indicate only bowl seats. Many band students remain making finding seats extremely difficult. We have always been in top tiers with general admission before this year.

This was our first time attending BOA. It was great to see so many talented kids. This was also the first time our school got to participate in BOA. The kids had a blast playing in a big arena and seeing so many other bands. We parents enjoyed it just as much.

I really enjoyed myself it is a experience to go see other bands from different schools. I went to see my granddaughter play. It was so much fun.

The event seamed to go smoothly, considering how many schools attended. Event was kept clean and staff was helpful and courteous.

BOA puts on a class event. Compared to ISSMA at the same location, it managed better. Now, paying top dollar foe good seats, I was disappointed with section 340. Unless you are in the first row, there is a head blocking the entire center of the field. Last year in 542, the view was better and the sound was better. I actually watched a few bands standing at the entrance to 346 (endzone) and had a better experience.

We attended for the first time in a while. Pearland TX first time ever performing in Indy, our son is band director. It was an amazing experience from watching their band to all the others & the amazing children, their parents & directors & staff. always brings tears to my eyes! Phenomenal! All so well put together!

BOA Grand National Semi-Finals did not disappoint with the bands on the field. However, Lucas Oil Stadium "security"were not clear about permitted seating to start the day. We had General Admission seating tickets which, per Ticketmaster, would allow seating in the 500/600 level of the stadium. Arriving at the stadium at 7:20 a.m. (gates opened at 6:30), stadium staff tried to keep us from sitting at this level, but relented upon brief discussion. However, they continued to block people from sitting in the 500/600 level until approximately 10:00 a.m. The GA tickets didn't state that 500/600 would open at a later time. Just keep it consistent for the whole day folks.
