BAKERMAT IN CONCERT:
Rising Dutch DJ and producer Bakermat combines sleek, glitchy beats with expressive jazz samples to arrive at a minimal yet soulful deep house sound.? At his adrenaline-filled live shows the young beatmaker brings melodic house tracks like "One Day" and "Uitzicht" to life with the help of a full band including a saxophonist, drummer, violinist, and vocalist, treating fans to dynamic sets that combine the best of EDM with live jazz improvisation. Whether he's dropping the beat on melodic originals like "Teach Me" or pumping things up with his remix of Florence + The Machine's "You've Got the Love", Bakermat is a world-class DJ who always gets fans feeling euphoric at his bring-the-house-down live shows.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Bakermat, aka Lodwijk Fluttert, was born in the small Dutch village of Markelo in 1991. At age 12 he became interested in house music, but he didn't discover deep house until he moved to Utrecht to attend university at age 18. He moonlit as a DJ while in school, and before long he was producing his own tracks. Bakermat quickly built a fanbase after posting his early material online, and in 2012 he released his official debut single "Zomer" to a No. 21 spot on the Dutch singles chart. He followed up later that year with the track Vandaag, an international smash that cracked the Top 10 on charts across Europe. Since then he's become a festival favorite with high-octane sets at Tomorrowland and We Are Together!, wowing fans with performances that incorporate a full backing band. In late 2014 Bakermat released "Teach Me", the lead single from his highly anticipated full-length debut album and a fantastic addition to his electrifying sets on tour.

Despite someone pulling the Fire alarm before the main act, Bakermat came on and absolutely killed it. Awesome performer with incredible energy.
