Arch Enemy on Tour
Veteran performers, this melodic death metal group have toured far and wide beyond their Swedish origins. One of Arch Enemy's first outings, the Burning Bridges tour, was a rough ride — in 1999, bassist Sharlee d'Angelo was replaced twice. The band smoothed things out as they hit Japan a few years later in support of albums Wages of Sin and Anthems of Rebellion. Ever since, Arch Enemy's aggressive jaunts have spanned the globe: Europe, North and South America, Australia, New Zealand and even South Korea. They've toured with groups like Trivium, DragonForce and Opeth, and have shared festival bills with bands such as Megadeth, Judas Priest, Slayer and Anthrax. June 2019 marks the start of a massive world tour beginning at the Rock am Ring festival in Nürburg, Germany, and hits the U.S. in the fall.?
Arch Enemy Background
Arch Enemy were founded in 1996, and the group's original members included guitarist Christopher Amott of Armageddon and drummer Daniel Erlandsson of Eucharist, as well as guitarist Michael Amott of Carnage and vocalist and bassist Johan Liiva (both of whom were also in the Liverpool-based extreme metal group Carcass). Releasing Black Earth in 1996, they started gaining an audience right from the beginning. The album, released on Wrong Again, debuted at No. 193 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and No. 97 on the Swedish charts. After the success of Black Earth, Arch Enemy signed with Century Media to release Stigmata in 1998, immediately followed by 1999's Burning Bridges. Both albums charted in the U.S. and Sweden, as well as France, Germany, Japan and Finland. In 2000, vocalist Liiva left, was replaced by German death metal singer Angela Gossow and the new lineup released Wages of Sin the following year. Gossow was the group's frontwoman until 2014, when she was replaced by Alissa White-Gluz. Released in 2017, Will to Power was the band's first album to feature clean singing; it was ranked on Metal Hammer's 100 Best Albums of 2017 list and won Best Album that year in Burn! Magazine as well.

The show was awesome and the staff were efficient and helpful. The drink prices are ridiculous. Sixteen dollars for a beer, and five dollars for water? Seriously?
Flipping awesome. Best night out in awhile, and my daughter's first concert. She had a blast.
Expensive parking, expensive beverages, column’s obstructing views no cash accepted for drink purchases, you name, the Fillmore sucks. At least Arch Enemy we’re really good.
The opening band, unto others, was really good, they captivated the audience they held the crowd they did a really nice job considering the type of people that were there. I was really here for napalm death. Napalm death delivered on every possible childhood dream I ever had of seeing them. The sound was excellent at the venue, the stage was kind of small but that's okay because nape home death were huge. They converted fans of grindcore, hardcore, thrash and your run of the mill metal that night. It was one of the greatest performances I'd ever seen. And I will not soon forget it. I did stick around to see behemoth, just to see what it was all about. I couldn't help but laugh at the theatrics of it all. Having been a fan of heavy music my whole life seeing this band up there playing this music and they're all like 125 lb soaking wet and praising Satan, I just had to laugh and not one of those lols and be done, serious belly laughs the whole set. I hung out with Dave and John from napalm death by the merch booth. Had a lovely chat, had two overpriced drinks at the venue and then left. I didn't even want to see Arch Enemy. Taking nothing away from their talent or ability it's just not my thing and I already had enough of that already. I got what I came for and I left. My only regret is I overpaid for parking and I was going to leave a lot on the meter. Never in my life that I think I'd pay the money I did just to see napalm death which is normally between 15 to $20. But this is a childhood dream realized and I'm happy to do it. And I'd rather see them at a 15 to $20 club where it's more intimate and personal. And the drinks are cheaper
Great show at the filmore in md. With Amon Amarth. Come to virginiabeach
Why are you guys touring across America I'd love to see this concert but I live in Chicago IL. A live stream just won't do. Anyway keep rockin and I can't wait to buy yournew album
Arch Enemy was amazing. Venue is amazing. Love the venue is because is smaller intimate venue where you really get to be close to the band.
Archenemy put in a great show. I am not into this type of music but Archenemy is my wife’s favorite band. Their performance was amazing. Her energy was perfect for that type of show.
The show was absolutely amazing. The handicap seating was okay, stools dosen't help everybody. Needs improvement.
