Audience Faults, not the artist himself.
by Alina M. on 10/6/24Palladium Times Square - New York CityI’m from PR, and I was fortunate enough to hear the album at his listening party back at home. I’ve been to lots of concerts in barricade but have never had such a bad experience as this one. I arrived early (around 4pm) and there was a long line already. Once we got in, i was halfway in the pit, pretty close to the stage in a way. Once the concert started, the audience members could not stop pushing. I could not move my arms, could not take out my phone to record. Couldn’t do anything of the sort. Once the artist came down to say hello to people at the barricade, that is when i could not take it anymore and could not even breathe in there. I ended up having to leave the pit and watched the rest of the concert in the hall through a TV. The performances and concert was great, I had been waiting to watch his for such a long time. But the audience ruined it for me. As i tried to leave, many laughed, and many didn’t want to let me through to get out. It was a horrible experience. I knew that the concert wouldn’t be the same as it could be in PR, but i did not expect this much of a crazy experience. It left me disappointed, and I hope I can catch him back home when I visit PR.
