AJ Rafael is a pop rock singer from Moreno Valley, California. The Filipino-American musician first auditioned for Season 4 of American Idol as a teen before starting to upload covers and original music on YouTube in 2006. Rafael dropped his freshman EP, Juicebox, in 2010, then crowdfunded his 2011 debut album Red Roses. In addition to his music, Rafael is also a popular YouTuber and the creator of the variety show Crazy Talented Asians. In 2024, he will embark on his first tour in nearly a decade on the heels of his 2023 single “Take Me Back.”

AJ Rafael’s concert was amazing. His stage presence and wholesomeness really come through with the crowd. You can tell how genuine he is and loved his music is. Amazinggggg concert. Definitely a core memory.

AJ is so real when it comes to music. He puts his passion for life in his music and it shows. He really interacts with his fans and recognizes his amazing presence with them. He makes the fans really enjoy his show and understands that they make everything possible for him to do what he does. This show was by far my favorite I’ve been to, even if it’s a small venue, it’s the vibe that really counts. If he decides to tour again, I would surely see him!
