311 in Concert
311 defined the 90s with a style that many bands would come to embrace – folding rap into more traditional forms like alternative rock and reggae. Their early 90s' hits "Down" and "All Mixed Up," tracks that carried their self-titled album to the No. 12 spot on The Billboard 200, introduced the world to an original sound that remains popular today. "Over the past few years, we've realized we're primarily a live band...and we're damn glad for that," said lead singer, Nick Hexum. Their fan base, dubbed the "The Hive", agree because every 311 concert is an intense, trippy and emotional ride. 311's most recent album Universal Pulse reached No. 1 on Billboard's Tastemaker Albums and Independent Albums charts.
With foresight and two decades of solid hits, 311 has turned the police code for streaking in Nebraska into an instantly recognized symbol for the meeting of ska, rap metal and jazz fusion. The band began in Omaha, Nebraska with Nick Hexum, Tim Mahoney, Chad Sexton, P-Nut and SA Martinez. The band went through several independent releases before signing with Capricorn Records in 1992. Their last album, in 2011, Universal Pulse, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200. Since the introduction of their first album Music in 1993, 311 has released Grassroots, 311, Transistor, Soundsystem, From Chaos, Evolver, Don't Tread on Me, Uplifter and Universal Pulse. On every even-numbered year since 2000, the date 3/11 has meant the 3-11 Day Concert, when the band performs an extremely extended set. Fans who bought tickets to 3-11 Day in 2012 saw the band perform 79 songs over two days in Las Vegas. If you're looking for their 2014 album, it will be out on — you guessed it — March 11.
In the summer of 2019, 311 is touring with Dirty Heads for what they said will be a hybrid of "alternative sound and good vibes." The U.S. tour runs July 2-Aug. 20. They will be joined by pop trios Dreamers and Bikini Trill for all shows, with special guest performances by The Interrupters on all but six dates.

Such an awesome show!!! Will see them again!!! Can't wait till next time
311 was amazing. Neon Trees opened up the concert and they were fantastic. Following them was AWOLnation, who was also fantastic!!! Then I went backstage to meet 311, The guys are so nice and very accommodating with photos. They proceeded to play for over an hour and a half. They played a wide range of music from all their albums, which is phenomenal.
Nice venue, short lawn chair and blanket recommended while it's not super large it provides a pretty laid back and chill atmosphere to the concert. It's spacious and feels cool and naturesque to listen to live music in the park. As the sun sets the charm and beauty really shine with the venue edge lighting, hues of pink and orange fill the sky and the light from the stage illuminates the performers. If I had to make any criticism it would be for this particular show I think they could have had invited one more vendor stand and two more food trucks to provide a variety of food/snackage. The way folks organized and maintained guiding for parking on arrival was desperately needed at the end of the event. It became a little of a free for all on the way out. Overall though a great venue, pretty efficient setup and process. Great food, bring everything you'd bring for an impromptu picnic and be mindful to your fellow guests, it'll be a great time. I'll definitely be going back!
The venue is pretty cool, the food options were great, and the parking was actually done really well, especially when compared to other venues. 311 is fantastic! I'll go out of my way to see them everytime they are in the area. Awolnation was also great! Their set was fun and a good start before 311. Neon Trees were disappointing and the lead singer was being rude and insulting to the crowd because they didn't clap for them very much.
We saw neon trees, awolnation and 311. It was full, but people all seemed to have a spot staked out around the venue. Good food truck choices and the security lines were fast and efficient. Even the parking was relatively good. A bit pricey to park at $20, but it sounds like it goes to the park so it’s worth it. Nice, easy going crowd. Love marymoor park for concerts!
we have seen 311 twice, and I wish I had been able to see them sooner. I loved them in jr high, over 25 years ago, and they sound just as amazing live or even better this many years later. They put on an exciting and entertaining show. Highly recommend if you get the chance.
First time at Marymoor Live. Was a very good experience overall. The band - fire! They have such fun music (perfect for a nice summer night at an outdoor venue). I really think they are totally underrated. The 2 singers are a nice '1-2 punch' but, even better are the musicians. They are outstanding! Their music is super clean and they are so 'on'. Everyone should go see this group, even if you're not very familiar with their music. You will feel like you've known them forever.
Great lights and background visuals. Great vocals in all 3 bands. Loved the atmosphere and stage presence! Would see all 3 bands again.. thanks for the great artistic and amazing musical vibes!!
Best concert I’ve ever been to! 311 played all of my favorite songs. The venue was beautiful and very accommodating
My title pretty much sums it up. I don’t really care for 311, in fact we left a couple songs in. All good though! For $25 tickets I had an amazing time and avoided the crowd when leaving. Love love love AWOLNATION! They should headline vs 311.
